About the Role
The Senior Manager Partnerships & Partner Relations will be responsible for managing and
nurturing relationships with institutional, CSR, foundation, and HNI partners across the full partnership lifecycle. This role combines strategic fundraising and partnership management ensuring impactful collaborations, seamless execution, and long-term engagement with partners. The individual will lead efforts to identify, secure, and steward partnerships with corporate, institutional, and philanthropic stakeholders aligned to Muskaan Dreams mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership & Donor Management
- Lead end-to-end partner lifecycle management from proposal drafting, due diligence, and onboarding to renewals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring timely communication, trust building, and smooth collaboration.
- Maintain consistent engagement with donors and partners through regular updates, impact reports, and personalized communication.
- Proactively drive successful partnership renewals and explore opportunities for deepening engagement.
2. Fundraising & Pipeline Development
- Identify, research, and build a robust pipeline of prospective partners including CSR, foreign funds, foundations, family offices, and HNIs (domestic and NRI).
- Develop strategic relationship maps and outreach plans to expand Muskaan Dreams funding base.
- Drive fundraising efforts in alignment with organisational priorities and growth strategy.
3. Proposal & Grant Writing
- Write high-quality proposals, concept notes, and customized presentations aligned to funder interests.
- Tailor proposals to demonstrate Muskaan Dreams alignment with funder priorities and showcase measurable impact.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals and reports in collaboration with internal teams.
4. Project Execution & Coordination
- Collaborate closely with program and operations teams to ensure project execution aligns with partner commitments and expectations.
- Conduct regular review meetings with internal teams to track progress, share updates, and address challenges.
- Ensure timely submission of documentation, deliverables, and program reports.
5. Field Engagement & Monitoring
- Plan and facilitate partner field visits to showcase on-ground impact and strengthen partner confidence.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or red flags to leadership in a timely manner.
6. Compliance & Grant Management
- Manage end-to-end grant cycles including proposal, negotiation, compliance, reporting, and renewal.
- Ensure adherence to compliance requirements (FCRA, donor guidelines, and tax exemptions).
- Track and manage reporting deadlines, financial documentation, and funder communications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 810 years of experience in partnership management, fundraising, CSR/institutional relations, or donor servicing.
- Proven track record in securing and managing partnerships with CSR, institutional funders, foundations, or HNIs.
- Experience in the nonprofit, education, or development sector preferred.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for foreign funding (FCRA), donor reporting, and tax regulations.
