Senior Manager - Media Relations

As a Senior Manager Media Relations at Tracxn, you will play a crucial role in shaping the brand perception and strengthening the market presence through strategic external communications. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and executing Tracxn's long-term media relations strategy in alignment with brand and business priorities. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior journalists, editors, and influencers in business, tech, startup, and regional media. - Enhancing executive visibility through impactful interviews, speaking opportunities, and thought-leadership features. - Supervising the creation of compelling press materials and data-driven narratives to establish Tracxn as an industry authority. - Providing guidance and mentorship to PR agencies and internal team members to ensure the achievement of clear KPIs. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to synchronize messaging and maximize brand impact across media and digital platforms. - Monitoring share of voice, coverage quality, and journalist engagement to deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Skills & Experience: - 5-8 years of progressive experience in media relations, PR, or journalism with a proven leadership track record. - Strong executive presence with the ability to advise, coach, and influence leadership in media-facing situations. - Well-established network of senior-level media contacts in business and technology ecosystems. - Experience in managing PR agencies, cross-functional stakeholders, and high-stakes communication scenarios. - Expertise in strategic storytelling, crisis management, and reputation building in dynamic sectors like SaaS, data, fintech, or startups. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to inspire teams and align diverse stakeholders.,
