Job Description

This role is part of the Marketing team, where the Senior Manager Marketing will be responsible for shaping brand strategy, executing marketing campaigns, and driving audience engagement across both TV and digital platforms. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal teams, creative agencies, and external stakeholders to develop impactful marketing initiatives that enhance Star Sports presence and connect with the audience.

What will you do:

  • Brand & Audience Growth:

    Drive overall brand presence and engagement for Star Sports properties across TV and Digital, ensuring measurable impact on awareness, intention to watch, and viewership metrics (TVR, unique reach, live viewership, live consumption)
  • Consumer Insights & Analytics:

    Translate data on TV and Digital audiences into actionable insights that inform marketing strategies, content positioning, and campaign concepts.
  • Strategic Campaign Planning:

    Conceptualize and lead integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen brand equity and maximize audience engagement across TV, digital, social, and activations
  • Content & Communication Strategy:

    Shape messaging, creative direction, and storytelling across campaigns to ensure alignment with brand objectives and audience expectations.
  • Digital & Platform Engagement:

    Drive digital viewership growth for each property by setting measurable KPIs, optimizing campaigns for online platforms, and leveraging innovative approaches to enhance live and on-demand engagement.
  • Partnership & Stakeholder Alignment:

    Collaborate with internal teams, creative agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly and reflect the brand's voice and vision.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization:

    Monitor brand and campaign performance, including both TV and digital metrics, and refine strategies based on results to maximize impact.
  • Brand Investment Management:

    Oversee marketing budgets strategically, ensuring optimal allocation to campaigns that deliver the highest brand and audience impact.

Skills & attributes for success:

  • MBA in Marketing from a top-tier B-school
  • 8-10 years of marketing and brand management experience driving ATL, BTL, and end-to-end integrated campaigns for large national consumer brands
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable impact on TV and digital metrics
  • Experience working in a matrix organization is an advantage
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, media planning, consumer research, ATL & BTL campaign development, and digital marketing
