Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Finance Risk and Controls at LSEG, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a controls framework to ensure effective handling of risks by Finance while achieving strategic objectives. Your role will involve championing a risk-first mindset and fostering a strong controls culture within the Finance department. Additionally, you will play a vital role in ensuring alignment with relevant regulatory requirements such as the UK Corporate Governance Code. You will be instrumental in enhancing the controls landscape during the Finance organization's transformation journey, particularly as a new ERP system is being implemented. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead a team of three to four individuals to provide assurance to senior management on the appropriate design and operation of controls to mitigate risks. - Develop and maintain the controls framework as part of the new ERP system implementation. - Create key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to measure the effectiveness of key controls. - Present in various committees and forums and coordinate reporting and governance activities. - Promote a risk-first approach and cultivate a strong controls culture through training and role modeling. - Support the completion of compliance requirements and act as a key contact for various stakeholders including internal and external auditors. - Utilize innovative technology to enhance control design and effectiveness. - Engage with internal/external customers at all levels to achieve desired outcomes and build key stakeholder relationships. **Qualifications Required:** - Professional qualification or membership of a professional body (e.g., CPA, ICAEW, ACCA). - Deep understanding of the COSO framework and prior experience in a SOX environment. - Strong stakeholder management skills. - In-depth knowledge of Cash Out processes, key risks, and best practice controls. - Robust understanding of the three lines model and experience in driving partnerships across the three lines. - Good working knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, ORMC are highly desirable. - Prior experience with GRC tools (e.g., MetricStream, SAP GRC) is preferred.
