Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the Finance Risk and Controls team as a Senior Manager, responsible for creating and maintaining a controls framework to manage risks effectively while achieving strategic objectives. Your role will involve promoting a risk-first mindset and fostering a strong controls culture within the Finance department. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and improving controls landscape during the organization's transformation journey. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of three to four individuals to provide assurance to senior management on the effectiveness of controls in mitigating risks - Develop and maintain controls framework as part of the new ERP system implementation - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to measure the effectiveness of key controls - Present in various committees and forums, coordinating reporting and governance activities - Promote a risk-first approach and cultivate a strong controls culture through training and role modeling - Support completion of compliance requirements and act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders - Utilize innovative technology to enhance control design and operating effectiveness - Engage with customers at all levels to achieve desired outcomes and lead key stakeholder relationships effectively Qualifications Required: - Professional qualification or membership of a professional body (e.g., CPA, ICAEW, ACCA) - Deep understanding of COSO framework and experience in a SOX environment - Strong stakeholder management skills - Knowledge of Cash Out processes, key risks, and best practice controls - Understanding of general IT controls and their impact on financial reporting - Familiarity with the three lines model and driving partnerships across the lines - Basic knowledge of enterprise risk management and its application to Finance - Track record as a compassionate, fair, and empathic people leader - Working knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, ORMC (desirable) - Experience with GRC tools (e.g., MetricStream, SAP GRC) preferred Company Details: London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
