Senior Manager - Finance - Insurance Finance (Investment accounting)

As a member of the KKR Insurance Finance team, your role will involve supporting the accounting for strategic investments, focusing on real estate and renewable energy. Your responsibilities will include: - Working cross-functionally to recognize and record complex new investment transactions, such as acquisitions and dispositions in renewable energy and real estate. - Conducting monthly investment and suspense reconciliations, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and other investment accounting activities. - Performing month-end and quarter-end closing procedures, including analytical reviews of Special Purpose Vehicle financial statements. - Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and NAIC Model Audit Rule. - Preparing monthly and quarterly management reports analyzing investment results. - Monitoring activity in each assigned Special Purpose Vehicle. - Conducting ad hoc analysis and assisting with special projects as needed. - Collaborating with functional teams and auditors on requests and periodic investment monitoring. Qualifications required for this position: - Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred or advanced degree in Finance required. - 4-6 years of relevant experience. - Strong preference for a background in renewable energy and real estate investment accounting. - Technical accounting skills and knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory accounting principles related to investments. - Familiarity with complex transactions, internal securitizations, and Special Purpose Vehicles. - Strong analytical skills. - Familiarity with investment accounting systems. - Experience with subledger implementations preferred. - Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel. - Pro-active, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and excellent documentation skills. - Results-oriented, flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment with limited supervision. - Solid written and oral communication skills. - Proven ability to successfully manage competing priorities and multiple deliverables.,
