Senior Manager - EDI

The EDI Sr Manager is responsible for Leading and manage EDI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. Manage stakeholder to build EDI solutions that facilitate electronic communication between business partners. This role involves managing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance data exchange efficiency.

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EDI strategies to support organizational initiatives and improve data exchange processes.
• Oversee a team of EDI analysts, developers and testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure the design and development of EDI application interfaces and maps are aligned with industry standards.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Establish documentation standards and ensure all project scopes, deliverables, and schedules are well-documented.
• Track project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and better understanding in non-EDI standards (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON, FLATFILE)
• Review and optimize existing EDI processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure the ongoing maintenance and support of EDI systems.
• Provide training and support to team members and end-users on EDI processes and tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in EDI.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in EDI development and project management.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols.
• Proficient in relevant programming languages and EDI software/tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based EDI solutions.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain, Transport, Logistics, Retail, Health Care and Manufacturing.

This role is crucial for ensuring seamless data exchange within the organization and with external partners, ultimately supporting operational efficiency and enhancing business relationships.

Technical Skills Required:

Preferred hands-on experience in Axway B2Bi 2.x.x, Axway Mapping services [DML], Axway Sentinel and SQL or Any B2B Integration Tool.
