Description
We are looking for a Senior Axway Map Developer with strong expertise in Axway B2Bi and mapping development, specifically for logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust EDI maps to support seamless data exchange with carriers, suppliers, and customers across global logistics networks. Role & Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain EDI maps using Axway B2Bi Mapping Services (X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV). • Implement EDI transactions relevant to logistics, including but not limited to: • 856 (Advance Ship Notice), 940 (Warehouse Shipping Order), 945 (Warehouse Shipping Advice), 214 (Shipment Status), 210 (Freight Invoice), 204 (Load Tender), and 997 (Acknowledgment). • Translate logistics and transportation business rules into effective transformation logic. • Work closely with warehouse, transportation, and supply chain teams to support partner onboarding and integration efforts. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments related to map processing, validation, and partner communication. • Manage multiple trading partner configurations and maintain compliance with customer/carrier EDI specifications. • Monitor and improve the performance of existing maps, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. • Maintain mapping documentation, standards, and best practices. Technical Skills Required: Axway Mapping services, Axway B2Bi 2.x.x, Axway Sentinel Technologies Required: EDI [X12, EDIFACT, XML & JSON], Logistics and Freight forwarder domain. Other Qualifications: • Strong command of logistics-related EDI standards and workflows. • Experience with EDI protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTPS, VAN. • In-depth understanding of supply chain and logistics processes. • Ability to troubleshoot and debug map-related issues effectively. Experience (Min ~ Max): 5+ years of experience in Axway B2Bi map development. Education Required: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
