Senior Manager - Drawing & Design Coordinator

The position of Architectural Project Manager at our organization reports to the VP - Projects. In this role, you will be required to interact with both internal and external stakeholders. Internally, you will collaborate with related employees, reporting authorities, and senior management. Externally, you will engage with contractors, offices, stakeholders, agencies, vendors, consultants, and other relevant entities. To be eligible for this role, you must hold a minimum qualification of B. Arch or M. Arch and possess a minimum of 12+ years of experience in the field. Special skills and attributes required for this position include proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketch Up, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication skills (both written and verbal), time management abilities to maintain Turnaround Time (TAT), knowledge of building codes, and expertise in preparing and delivering PPT presentations. The primary objective of this job is to play a crucial role in ensuring that design elements align with project goals and timelines. You will act as a bridge between the design team, clients, and other stakeholders, managing information flow and resources to keep projects on track and realize the creative vision efficiently. Key responsibilities associated with this role include understanding concept architecture, developing coordinated drawings, maintaining constant communication with consultants and stakeholders, value engineering, making relevant presentations, providing inputs to the Project Manager, understanding the requirements of the Business Development/Sales team, securing internal approvals, issuing GFC drawings, examining architectural and engineering drawings for inconsistencies, monitoring on-site activities, assisting in plan and specification analysis, creating expense forecasts, assessing design possibilities, troubleshooting design-related issues, and ensuring compliance with local building codes. This full-time position is based in Kolkata and falls under the Architecture & Project Delivery department within the Projects organization. The successful candidate will need to adapt to standard working hours and may be required to travel occasionally.
