Assistant Manager - Visual Merchandiser

As a Visual Merchandiser in the Mall Management Department, you will be reporting to the Sr. Centre Director and will be required to interact with external agencies such as VM Consultants, Contractors, and Vendors. Your role will involve conceptualizing and executing innovative VM designs to capture consumer interest within the Mall. To be successful in this role, you should hold a minimum qualification of being an Architect, Interior designer, or Designer with a specialization in Visual Merchandising Design or possess a Diploma/Degree from NIFT with a focus on VM. Additionally, you should have at least 4-6 years of experience in VM within the retail industry. Key attributes that you must possess include effective conceptualization skills, creativity in translating briefs into executable designs, strong aesthetic sensibilities, expert knowledge of the visual industry, and good negotiation skills. Your primary objective will be to communicate through VM designs that engage customers and enhance their experience at the Mall. Some of your major responsibilities will include providing direction for visual merchandising, designing themes, developing visual strategies, collaborating with the Marketing team, planning seasonal themes, supervising installations, and conducting market surveys to stay updated on new trends and customer expectations. Your qualifications should align with the minimum educational requirements mentioned earlier, and the primary location for this role will be in Mumbai. This is a full-time position in the Marketing department of the Mall Business, operating on a standard shift schedule.
