Senior Manager - Data Engineering, ETML

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and troubleshooting Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementations to ensure accurate data tracking, reporting, and compliance for client websites and applications. As a Sr. Manager-Data Engineering at McKinsey's Digital Marketing hub (DMH), you will take ownership of a workstream and tackle challenging client issues. You will be based in Gurgaon and be part of the ETML Team, a subsidiary of McKinsey & Co., within the Growth, Marketing, and Sales practice. ET Medialabs (ETML) was acquired by McKinsey in early 2025 and is one of India's leading performance marketing and analytics agencies. The Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice aims to assist clients in consumer and business-to-business environments on various marketing and sales topics, focusing on achieving marketing-driven profit growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Set up, manage, and troubleshoot GA4 and GTM implementations for client websites and applications - Ensure accurate data tracking, reporting, and compliance - Take ownership of a workstream within the client service team - Collaborate with developers to set up custom tracking and data layers **Qualifications Required:** - 4-8 years of experience in GA4 and GTM implementation - Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for debugging and troubleshooting tracking issues - Experience with Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other reporting tools is a plus - Familiarity with marketing platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and other third-party tracking tools - Expertise in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM),
