Senior Magento Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and enhancing the Magento 2 enterprise e-commerce platform. This will include working on customized features related to catalog management, order workflows, inventory, procurement, logistics, shipping integrations, and performance optimization. Your role will involve maintaining the existing system and developing scalable solutions to meet evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Magento 2 Development & Customization - Maintain and enhance the Magento 2-based e-commerce platform. - Design and develop custom Magento modules, themes, and extensions. - Optimize platform performance, scalability, and security. - Architecture & System Design - Design scalable, high-performance Magento 2 solutions. - Manage multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency setups. - Optimize database performance, caching, indexing, and search. - Ensure compliance with Magento best practices and coding standards. - Order Management, Inventory & Logistics - Enhance and manage order processing workflows. - Build and optimize inventory, procurement, and logistics solutions. - Collaborate with warehouse and shipping partners to streamline operations. - Collaboration & Leadership - Work closely with business stakeholders, designers, and DevOps teams. - Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews. - Mentor junior developers and promote Magento best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 3-6 years of experience building high-performance Magento 2 applications. - Experience handling ~100 TPS (transactions per second) environments. Technical Skills: - Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Magento APIs. - Hands-on experience with Magento 2 module & theme development. - Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, Varnish, CDN. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, cloud deployments. - Experience with Headless commerce, PWA, GraphQL (preferred). - Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices. - Magento 2 Certification is a plus.
