Senior ML Engineer / Applied ML Lead

• Build ML systems from scratch
• Own the ML architecture end-to-end
• Handle NLP, embeddings, and ranking models
• Work with geospatial data
• Deploy production-grade ML
• Guide and mentor junior ML engineers

founding-level role

• 4–8 years experience in Machine Learning
• Strong Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
• Deep learning frameworks:

  PyTorch or TensorFlow

• NLP: transformer-based models (HuggingFace, BERT family, XLM-R, Sentence Transformers)
• Embeddings + semantic similarity
• Vector search:

  FAISS / Pinecone / Qdrant

• Ranking algorithms (learning-to-rank, similarity scoring)
• Experience with

  geospatial data

  (distance filtering, clustering, geo-features)
• Hands-on experience deploying ML in production
• Experience building real systems (not academic-only)

• Experience with multilingual NLP
• Experience with ASR/voice pipelines
• Experience with recommendation systems
• Experience with model optimization for latency
• Basic DevOps knowledge (Docker, GPU workloads)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/AI/DS or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of delivering ML systems to production
• Ability to work independently
• Strong problem-solving + system design mindset
• Comfortable in early-stage startup environment
