As an ML Engineer, you will design and develop: • NLP pipelines for user inputs • Geolocation-based ML components • Ranking & matching algorithms • Embedding-based similarity systems • Data preprocessing and model evaluation workflows Core Required • Strong Python • NLP experience (HuggingFace, BERT family, Sentence Transformers etc.) • Experience with embeddings, similarity, or semantic search • Understanding of vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant etc.) • Experience with classification/ranking models • Familiarity with geolocation/geospatial data (distance calculation, filtering, clustering) • Experience in deploying ML models Nice to Have • Experience with multilingual text • Exposure to transformer-based architectures • Experience with lightweight inference optimization • Basic knowledge of recommendation systems QUALIFICATIONS • 1–4 years hands-on experience in NLP/ML • Strong grasp of ML fundamentals • Demonstrated projects in text or ranking models • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
