Senior Linux Administrator

You have over 10 years of experience as a Sr. Linux Administrator and are required to be an immediate joiner. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing FreeIPA servers and clients. Your strong background in identity management systems and experience with FreeIPA will be crucial for implementing and maintaining user authentication, authorization, and auditing processes. You will manage user accounts, groups, and policies within the FreeIPA environment, ensuring high availability, replica set, and reliability of FreeIPA services. Collaboration with IT security teams to establish and enforce identity management policies is essential. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to FreeIPA and integrated services will also be part of your responsibilities. Regular system backups and updates must be conducted to maintain security compliance. Providing training and support to users and administrators on FreeIPA functionalities is another critical aspect of the role. Monitoring system performance and optimizing configurations as needed will be essential to ensure smooth operations. Your proven experience with FreeIPA or similar identity management solutions, along with strong knowledge of Linux systems administration (CentOS, RHEL, etc.), will be highly valuable. Familiarity with LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, and security protocols is required. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation is also necessary. You will be expected to install, configure, and maintain SFTP servers on Linux systems. Configuring SSH for secure SFTP operations, including key-based authentication, monitoring SFTP server performance and user activity, and troubleshooting and resolving SFTP-related issues will be part of your duties. Detailed documentation of SFTP configurations, user access, and security policies must be maintained. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate SFTP solutions with other systems and knowledge of network protocols and security best practices are additional responsibilities that you will handle in this role.,
