Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience as Legal Advisor in a Manufacturing, Sales and setup for FMCG goods and Wellness services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Should have working knowledge on the following:

• Consumer laws
• Legal Metrology Act
• Food Safety and Standards
• Drugs and Cosmetics Act
• Intellectual property laws
• Property/rent laws
• Laws related to health and wellness services
• Contract laws, Companies Act and other business, commercial, corporate and compliance laws related to manufacturing, trade, wellness services and business operations.

2. Work on domestic and international transactions, agreements and other legal documents (e.g. related to manufacturing and trade operations, collaborations, business, funding, financial/ securities offerings)

3. Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; protect the Company against legal risks.

4. Handle the Company's intellectual property matters both domestic and international.

5. Handle the Company's disputes, any ADR matters and litigation matters before Courts and Authorities.

6. Interact with Advocates and other consultants for specific cases.

7. Conduct research as required.

8. Provide legal advice as required.

9. Attend meetings and negotiations as required.

10. Prepare new SOPs and refine existing processes to streamline the legal function.

11. Manage and mentor the inhouse legal team
