Senior Lead Engineer Flow Assurance Projects

As a Senior Lead Flow Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for managing flow assurance work throughout the project life cycle in the Oil & Gas industry. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing flow assurance work across various project development phases, collaborating with multiple-disciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and operational goals. - Providing flow assurance support to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. - Offering technical guidance and training to junior engineers and team members to facilitate continuous development within the flow assurance discipline. - Utilizing advanced thermodynamic simulators like Multiflash to model the Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) behavior of produced fluids and guide design and operational decisions. - Predicting and analyzing the formation, deposition, and potential blockage of solids such as hydrates, wax, asphaltenes, scale, and sand through modeling. - Conducting steady-state and transient multiphase flow modeling to assess and optimize production systems, including considerations for artificial lift, thermal insulation, and system operability during various operational conditions. - Developing innovative solutions to complex flow assurance challenges to enhance safety, production efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. - Staying updated on the latest engineering developments, tools, and methodologies to apply them in flow assurance practices. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. Experience: - 10+ years of experience in flow assurance and 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record in project management. Skills Required: - Proficiency in using PVTSIM/MULTI FLASH and flow assurance software like OLGA & PIPESIM. - Good knowledge of subsea systems. - Ability to prepare technical power point presentations for senior management.
