As a Senior Lead Flow Assurance Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the flow assurance role and more than 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry, you will play a crucial role in managing flow assurance work throughout the project life cycle. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to the Operations & Maintenance team, collaborating with cross-functional teams within the company, serving as a team player, and mentoring junior flow assurance engineers. Your key accountabilities will involve demonstrating technical leadership and project management skills by overseeing the flow assurance work across various project development phases. This will entail collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, such as reservoir, pipeline, subsea controls, and O&M, to ensure alignment with project objectives and operational goals. Additionally, you will offer flow assurance support to the O&M team and provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and team members to foster continuous development within the flow assurance discipline. You will utilize advanced thermodynamic simulators like Multiflash to model the Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) behavior of produced fluids, guiding design and operational decisions. Furthermore, you will predict and analyze the formation, deposition, and potential blockage of solids such as hydrates, wax, asphaltenes, scale, and sand using modeling techniques. Your role will also involve conducting and reviewing flow assurance works for various in-house concepts and performing steady-state and transient multiphase flow modeling to assess and optimize production systems. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will lead the development of innovative solutions to complex flow assurance challenges, focusing on enhancing safety, production efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Staying updated on the latest engineering developments, tools, and methodologies will be essential to apply them effectively in enhancing flow assurance practices. Key skills required for this role include proficiency in PVTSIM/MULTI FLASH and flow assurance software such as OLGA & PIPESIM, a good understanding of subsea systems, and the ability to prepare technical presentations for senior management. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a proven track record of at least 10 years in flow assurance and 15 years in the oil and gas industry, demonstrating strong project management skills.,
