Senior Java Developer

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  scalable, high-performance, and secure Java applications

  .
• Build and consume

  RESTful

  and

  SOAP Web Services

  .
• Lead modules, perform code reviews, and mentor junior team members.
  
• Optimize existing applications for speed and scalability.
  
• Participate in

  application architecture design

  and planning activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Architects, QA) to deliver quality solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
  
• Contribute to

  DevOps pipelines

  for smooth CI/CD deployment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose system improvements.
  

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Core Java experience:

  5-8 years

• Java frameworks:

• Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, Hibernate:

  4+ years

• Web Services:

• RESTful Web Services:

  3+ years

• SOAP Web Services:

  1-2 years (preferred)

• Database:

• Experience with

  MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

  (4+ years)

• DevOps exposure:

• Basic experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle) and version control (

  Git

  )

• Front-end technologies:

• Angular

  : 1-2 years (good to have)
• Overall front-end experience (HTML, CSS, JS): 2+ years (preferred)
  

• Team handling/leadership experience:

• 1-2 years leading modules or mentoring junior team members
  

• Application Architecture:

• Experience in contributing to application architecture design or making architecture-related changes is a strong plus
  

Good to Have:

• Cloud platforms

  : AWS, Azure, GCP
• Exposure to

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

• Experience with

  NoSQL databases

  (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Familiarity with

  Agile/Scrum

  methodologies

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Computer Science
