Senior Java Developer

You will be responsible for understanding project requirements and translating them into technical solutions. You will develop and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Utilizing Core Java, JSP, and Servlets for web application development will be a key part of your role. You will also implement and maintain RESTful APIs and work with frameworks like Spring Boot and Microservices to build robust and scalable applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features will be essential. As part of your responsibilities, you will perform code reviews, suggest improvements, and follow best practices for software development to ensure code quality through unit testing. Participation in CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment will be required. You will also utilize AWS services for cloud-based application development and deployment, as well as implement database solutions using MongoDB and SQL. Additionally, the use of Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment will be expected. To be eligible for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development. A strong understanding of Java ecosystems and object-oriented programming is necessary. Proficiency in using IDEs like Eclipse and Spring Tool Suite (STS) is also required. Experience with REST API development and integration, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, as well as knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, are important qualifications. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, will be valuable assets in this role.
