Senior Java Developer

As a Java developer with experience in Kotlin and Spring Boot, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend components. Your primary tasks will include implementing and managing JWT-based authentication, working with PostgreSQL for data modeling, handling deployments and troubleshooting on AWS, and collaborating with frontend teams for seamless API integration. You will be expected to debug and resolve production issues efficiently, support content management workflows, and contribute to system design decisions. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of backend development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Kotlin, along with strong proficiency in Spring Boot, JWT, and PostgreSQL. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM is essential, as well as familiarity with API development and troubleshooting integrations. Knowledge of CMS-style content processing, healthcare platforms, or multi-language content delivery will be advantageous. Preferred qualifications include exposure to healthcare systems, HIPAA-compliant environments, or digital health platforms, as well as an understanding of frontend-backend communication patterns and security best practices. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes on AWS is also a plus. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and provident fund.
