Senior Java Developer

As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems using Java. You will implement data persistence layers using JDBC and integrate with messaging systems like JMS and Apache Kafka. Your role will involve building and consuming RESTful APIs to support front-end and third-party integrations, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high availability and scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions is a key aspect of this position. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed, following Agile methodologies and participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. To excel in this role, you must possess strong core Java development experience, proficiency in JDBC and JMS, hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, and experience working with HTTP-based RESTful APIs. A good understanding of multithreading, memory management, and backend performance tuning is essential. Preferred skills for this role include experience with Spring Boot or other Java frameworks, knowledge of microservices architecture, familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GCP), working knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.,
