About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate should act as a Technical SME, provide mentorship to junior developers, ensure delivery quality, and contribute actively across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Experience in Banking/Financial domain is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical SME and guide junior team members in development and delivery.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency Java applications.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Understand and analyze user requirements, translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop REST-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Work with MongoDB and relational databases; perform DB operations using Hibernate or Spring JDBC.
• Ensure application design aligns with business goals and technical standards.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality, testable code.
• Create and maintain detailed design documents and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage releases for software components.
• Propose improvements to existing Java infrastructure and application design.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum environment

Technical Skills Required

• Core Java, J2EE
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• MongoDB, relational databases
• Hibernate or Spring JDBC for database operations
• JUnit, MQ, GitHub, Git, Maven
• Experience working with messaging systems (MQ)
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Banking domain or financial services experience
• Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline knowledge
• Agile Scrum, Jira
• DevOps practices
• Experience building scalable, cloud-ready applications
