Job Description

As a member of our team at TDW, your primary focus will be ensuring the safe and reliable operation of pipelines in our communities. We take pride in our expertise, experience, and commitment to excellence, and strive to treat each other, our customers, and our community with care and respect. You will be responsible for managing processes that control the flow of inventory throughout procurement and production. Your key responsibilities will include tracking, organizing, and managing inventory levels in warehouses to ensure optimal stock levels. You will monitor inventory trends, identify discrepancies, and forecast future stock requirements. Collaborating with production and procurement teams, you will develop and implement inventory management systems to maintain a balanced inventory turnover for raw, WIP, and FG categories. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing reporting systems to communicate critical inventory data to regional stakeholders, coordinating with finance to establish cycle counting and physical inventory control systems, and working with others to identify cost reduction opportunities and best practices. Training production and procurement personnel on inventory control topics, coordinating with sourcing for supply chain training opportunities, and ensuring seamless operations and alignment of inventory goals will also be part of your role. You will play a crucial role in providing relevant information to other departments, meeting customer deadlines, improving procedures based on feedback, ensuring transaction accuracy, and proactively addressing weak areas in the department through effective AARs. Communication, both positive and constructive, with internal customers will be key, as well as promoting and following strictly the HSE policy and Quality System (ISO 9001). To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or mechanical engineering, along with five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification in Inventory Management (e.g., APICS CPIM) or other relevant certifications is required. Experience in reducing stock discrepancies, improving inventory accuracy, optimizing inventory turnover, and minimizing stockouts will be highly beneficial. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in English are essential for this position.,
