You will be responsible for integration development, which involves designing, developing, and deploying n8n workflows to connect to various APIs and data sources. This includes retrieving information such as device health, license entitlements, warranty status, and more. Additionally, you will be monitoring existing integrations for errors or performance issues, troubleshooting failures, optimizing for reliability and efficiency, and ensuring appropriate error-handling and retry logic. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is crucial as you will be working on API design and documentation. This involves defining data schemas, API contracts, writing clear API specifications, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of integration endpoints. Furthermore, you will contribute to the overall automation strategy by evaluating new iPaaS platforms/technologies, identifying opportunities to expand or consolidate integration workflows, and recommending best practices around version control, testing, and deployment pipelines. Your role will also involve partnering with Leads, Customer Success, and Engineers to gather detailed integration requirements, map out data flows, and ensure alignment between technical design and business goals. Participation in code and workflow reviews, upholding internal coding and security standards, implementing monitoring dashboards and alerts, as well as serving as the primary escalation point for integration-related incidents are also part of your responsibilities. In terms of required skills, you should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development or systems integration, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience building production integrations using an iPaaS or workflow automation platform like n8n, Zapier, or MuleSoft. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), familiarity with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, OAuth/OAuth2, and GraphQL, as well as experience with iPaaS/workflow platforms, especially n8n, are essential. Strong problem-solving, project management, collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and code review skills are also necessary for this role.
