Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining Stantec's Pune Team as an experienced Geotechnical Engineer. Your role will involve carrying out geotechnical investigations, GIS, and design on various civil engineering projects across the APAC region, including the Philippines. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in Leapfrog - Assisting senior staff on geotechnical projects - Conducting field investigation work, often in remote locations - Geological mapping of project land - Analyzing rock mechanic test results - Conducting soil, surface, and groundwater sampling - Logging core and subsurface conditions - Performing construction inspections and supervision - Writing proposals and reports Qualifications Required: - Master's Degree in Geology or Geotechnical Engineering or a related field of study - Minimum of 6 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of engineering projects - Project experience in water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, stormwater systems, and pump/lift stations - Project experience in pipeline and pump station design projects - Experience in field logging of soils is desirable - Availability for certification as an Engineer in the relevant field with the Regulatory Commission Philippines - Strong communicator, both orally and in writing - Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) - Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines - Self-starter with sound judgment and decisiveness - Team player with a strong client focus Additional Details: Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting.
