About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Create innovative and functional furniture designs tailored to client requirements 2. Develop detailed technical drawings, blueprints, 2D and 3D models of furniture pieces with a focus on modular and solid wood furniture 3. Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or similar tools to create accurate and visually appealing designs 4. Ensure designs are optimized for production feasibility and cost-effectiveness 5. Collaborate closely with the factory team to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable 6. Provide design specifications, including measurements, materials, and finishes to guide the production team 7. Review and refine designs based on client and production team feedback 8. Ensure final products align with approved designs and maintain high-quality standards 9. Stay updated with trends in furniture design, materials, and manufacturing techniques 10. Innovate new design ideas and concepts to enhance the factory's product offerings 11. Communicate with clients when necessary to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into designs Requirements: 1. Hold a bachelor's degree or diploma in furniture design, product design, or related fields 2. Demonstrate 0-1 years of experience in furniture design (experience in modular and solid wood furniture preferred) 3. Show proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or similar tools 4. Understand furniture production processes, materials, and manufacturing constraints 5. Apply excellent skills in technical drawing and 3D modeling 6. Exhibit creativity with a focus on functional and aesthetically appealing furniture designs 7. Maintain strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines 8. Communicate effectively and collaborate with the production team and clients 9. Stay familiar with market trends in furniture design and consumer preferences 10.
