Senior Fund Accountant

As a Senior Fund Accountant at EisnerAmper, you will be joining the RESIG Team in either the Bengaluru or Mumbai office. Your role will involve performing and reviewing various Fund Accounting functions on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will collaborate with internal and external teams, taking ownership of resolving cash breaks promptly and accurately. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing deliverables, calculating fees, preparing financial statements, and identifying and escalating fund issues when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Perform/review daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual Fund Accounting functions as assigned. - Co-ordinate with different teams (internal and external) for various tasks. - Take ownership of resolving cash breaks promptly and accurately. - Review deliverables produced by the team and ensure they meet EisnerAmper's quality standards. - Calculation, booking, and reviewing of various fees like Management, Incentive/carry etc. - Preparation and review of Financial Statements and Investor Reports. - Identify fund issues and escalate to the Manager. - Participate in calls/meetings to set expectations and ensure client satisfaction. - Continuously focus on process automations to reduce manual intervention. - Actively contribute to special projects and process improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting/CA/ICWA/MBA. - 4+ years of fund accounting experience. - Experience with partnership accounting applications like Yardi is an advantage. - Proficiency in Excel and Word. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Motivated, innovative, and proactive. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in virtual teams.
