Senior Fund Accountant

AlphaXN is looking to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its Fund Accounting team. It is a full-time role with work from office in Hyderabad, India.

• Process and track daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients
• Manage daily case activities and notices on assigned funds
• Correct discrepancies and update missing information
• Address queries and provide supporting documentation for quarterly and annual audits
• Perform reconciliation of bank accounts
• Prepare journal entries into specific accounting software
• Assist in preparation of GAAP financial statements
• Prepare and manage multiple ad-hoc investor inquires.
• Assist in the preparation of capital calls and distributions
• Communicate with clients and internal teams

Qualifications-

• Advanced skills in excel and other MS Office applications
• Good oral and written skills in English
• Good experience in relevant industry specific software
• CFA/CPA/CA/MBA would be a plus
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a Fund Accountant role serving U.S market clients
• Good organisation skills
• Proven ability to lead teams
• Advanced skills for prioritizing tasks, and working on multiple assignments
• Ability to work independently
• Team player with highly collaborative approach
• Highly professional, ethical and value driven
