Senior Full Stack Engineer II

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Lead the development of microservices and APIs that power enterprise-grade pricing and revenue systems.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
• Champion best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Participate in the evolution of our cloud-native architecture and contribute to modernization initiatives.
• Support deployment and production operations in collaboration with DevOps and infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of professional software development experience, including:
• Strong Java/JEE and Spring Boot expertise.
• 4+ years of experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience with ReactJS or similar front-end frameworks.

Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

• Proficiency with SQL & NoSQL Databases design and development (e.g. PostgreSQL and Couchbase/DocumentDB). Should have working experience in optimizing SQL queries for application performance.
• Working experience of building distributed systems using Pub/Sub, streaming platform like Kafka.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Familiarity with big data tools and batch processing (e.g., Spark, Scala, Oozie, EMR).
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or initiatives, including:
• Defining technical direction and architecture for small teams.
• Coordinating cross-functional collaboration and delivery.
• Driving resolution of complex technical challenges.
• Solid understanding of DevOps tools and practices (Git, Harness/Jenkins, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise integration patterns (e.g., Apache Camel).
• Exposure to distributed systems and concurrency frameworks (e.g., Akka).
• Background in travel, hospitality, or pricing systems.
• Experience contributing to architectural decisions or solution design.
• Agile/Scrum team experience.
