Responsibilities : - Development and Implementation : Design, develop, and implement complex user interfaces and frontend components using React.js, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. - Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior front-end developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. - Architectural Contributions : Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design and evolution of our frontend architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability. - State Management Expertise : Implement and manage complex application state using Redux and React Context API, ensuring efficient data flow and predictable behavior. - Component Development : Develop reusable and performant functional components and custom hooks in React. - API Integration : Integrate frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and handling asynchronous operations effectively. - Styling and UI/UX Implementation : Implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using CSS pre-processors (SASS/LESS) and CSS-in-JS solutions like Styled Components. Translate UI/UX designs into functional and responsive web applications. - Testing and Quality Assurance : Write comprehensive unit tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability. Participate in integration and end-to-end testing efforts. - Performance Optimization : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in frontend applications to ensure optimal user experience. - Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. - Code Management : Utilize Git for version control and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - CI/CD Integration : Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated deployment of frontend applications. - Agile Practices : Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). - Problem Solving and Debugging : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in frontend applications. - Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development, React.js ecosystem, and related technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Experience : 8+ years of professional experience in front-end development. - React.js Expertise : Strong proficiency and deep understanding of React.js principles, component lifecycle, virtual DOM, and performance optimization techniques. - State Management : Extensive experience with state management libraries, particularly Redux, including middleware (e.g., Redux Thunk, Redux Saga). - JavaScript and TypeScript : Excellent command of modern JavaScript (ES6+) features and strong proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications. - Asynchronous Programming : Proven experience in handling asynchronous operations using Promises, async/await, and other relevant patterns. - RESTful APIs : Solid understanding of RESTful API concepts and experience in integrating with backend services. - React Hooks : Deep understanding and practical experience in utilizing React Hooks for managing state and side effects in functional components. - Functional Components : Extensive experience in building applications primarily using functional components and best practices associated with them. - CSS Pre-processors and Styling : Proficiency in using CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS, and experience with CSS-in-JS solutions such as Styled Components. - Unit Testing : Strong familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, or similar, and a commitment to writing thorough unit tests. - Version Control : Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development. - CI/CD Pipelines : Experience working with and understanding the principles of CI/CD pipelines. - Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). - Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex frontend issues. - Communication and Collaboration : Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with other frontend frameworks or libraries (e.g., Angular, Vue.js). - Familiarity with build tools and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Parcel). - Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools. - Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) techniques. - Experience with accessibility best practices (WCAG). - Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools. - Contributions to open-source projects
