Job description : We are looking for an experienced Core SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our critical SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, along with a strong commitment to ensuring data integrity and system availability. Required Skills & Qualifications : Experience : - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing SQL Server databases. - Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture, database design, and administration. - Expertise in T-SQL for writing and debugging scripts, stored procedures, and triggers. - Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Experience with high availability and disaster recovery setups, including Always On and failover clustering. - Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies. - Knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks for database systems. - Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar. - Experience with cloud-based SQL services (Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS). - Exposure to monitoring tools like Redgate, SolarWinds DPA, or SQL Sentry. - Understanding of DevOps practices and database automation tools. - Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI for ETL and reporting tasks. - Experience with other Databases - MySQL, MongoDB etc
