🚀 We’re Hiring: Head of R&D – Whey Protein Products

At Kapi, we’re building India’s first whey-powered lifestyle brand 💪 — spanning protein powders, RTD shakes, bars, cookies, and even fortified dosa/idly mixes.

We’re looking for someone who has direct, hands-on experience in whey protein product development. This is not a generic food tech role — it’s for someone who has worked with WPC, WPI, hydrolysates and knows how to take whey products from lab → market launch.

🔬 Your Role

• Develop and optimize whey powders, flavoured shakes, protein bars, cookies, and functional mixes.

• Handle formulation, taste masking, solubility, stability, and nutrition balance.

• Conduct lab trials, pilot batches, and shelf-life studies.

• Ensure FSSAI compliance, labeling accuracy, and food safety standards.

• Scale recipes into commercial production with manufacturers.

✅ Who We’re Looking For

• 3–8 years of proven experience with whey protein products (not just dairy or food in general).

• Strong technical knowledge of protein fortification challenges (heat stability, taste masking, dispersibility).

• Demonstrated success in taking whey products from zero to one.

• Degree in Food Tech / Dairy Tech / Food Science (specialized in protein).

• Startup mindset: resourceful, fast, execution-driven.
