Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Machine Maintenance:
Do regular checking, cleaning, greasing, and repair of sinter plant machines like conveyors, crushers, screens, fans, coolers, and sinter machines.
Fitting & Assembly:
Open and fix gearboxes, pumps, motors, bearings, couplings, and rollers; make sure alignment is correct.
Welding & Cutting:
Do gas cutting, welding, and small fabrication work for chutes, pipes, ducts, and other parts if required.
Breakdown Repair:
Quickly attend machine breakdowns, find the fault, and repair to start the machine fast.
Inspection:
Check machines daily for noise, vibration, leakage, wear and tear; inform supervisor if any problem.
Spare Parts:
Change damaged spares and keep record of used parts.
Safety Work:
Always follow safety rules use PPE, lock-out/tag-out, and take proper work permits before maintenance.
Team Work:
Guide helpers and junior fitters in daily maintenance jobs.
Shutdown & Overhauling:
Take part in plant shutdowns for major repair, dismantling, and overhauling of equipment.

Candidate profile

Qualification should be I.T.I

Must have 7- 10 years of experience in sinter plant or pellet plant.

Experience in mechanical maintenance of ID Fan, FD Fan, Crusher machine, SMD,PMD, gear boxes, compressors & conveyors.

Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate
