Senior Financial Analyst, R&D

As a Senior Analyst, Finance & Strategy - R&D, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the R&D and Product organizations at our global, pre-IPO tech company. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Strategy, your responsibilities will include: - Building business partner relationships across the R&D organization to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements - Providing primary budget support for all R&D and Product functions - Leading benchmarking efforts and implementing best practices in budgeting and planning for the R&D organization - Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analyzing key trends, assessing business risks, and communicating messages to stakeholders - Leading efforts to enhance cloud infrastructure strategy and cost management to improve gross margins - Collaborating with cross-functional leaders and teams including Accounting, HR, and Recruiting - Ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial forecasting and contributing to IPO and public company readiness efforts Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of experience in corporate finance or business partner finance - Industry experience supporting R&D organizations in a SaaS enterprise software company - Experience with financial planning processes, cloud infrastructure strategy, and cost optimization - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Understanding of the high-tech landscape from both business and technology perspectives - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field - Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and financial modeling - Proficiency in Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Coupa, and other enterprise software systems ThoughtSpot is a leading provider of AI-powered analytics and natural language search, creating a culture of Selfless Excellence and continuous improvement.
