Senior Financial Analyst, R&D

As a Senior Analyst in Finance & Strategy - R&D at ThoughtSpot, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the R&D and Product organizations. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Strategy, your contributions will be vital in driving scalable and efficient operations to ensure continued strong growth of the Company. Your responsibilities will include: - Building business partner relationships across the R&D organization to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements - Providing primary budget support for all R&D and Product functions - Leading benchmarking efforts and implementing best practices in budgeting and planning for the R&D organization - Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting, analyzing financial results, distilling key trends, assessing business risks, and communicating key messages to stakeholders - Leading efforts to improve gross margins by enhancing cloud infrastructure strategy and cost management - Collaborating with cross-functional leaders and teams including Accounting, HR, and Recruiting - Driving accuracy and consistency in financial forecasting and helping lead IPO and public company readiness efforts Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of experience in corporate finance or business partner finance - Industry experience supporting R&D organizations in a SaaS enterprise software company and financial planning processes, including experience with cloud infrastructure strategy and cost optimization - Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Understanding of the high-tech landscape from both a business and technology perspective - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field - Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and financial modeling - Proficiency in Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Coupa, and other enterprise software systems At ThoughtSpot, we value diversity and inclusivity in our team.
