Senior Finance Role

As a detail-oriented senior accountant/professional, your role will involve performing and coordinating various accounting duties within the organization. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and handling other accounting tasks as assigned. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and record transactions and financial events in compliance with accounting principles and company policies. - Work with GST and assist with tax audits and tax returns. - Maintain accurate and timely processing of general ledger reconciliation and journal entries. - Ensure accurate and timely accounting reporting for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing. - Achieve budget objectives by managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective measures. - Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements. - Improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business. - Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance. - Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance. - Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures. - Provide support to junior staff and perform other accounting duties as required. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) - Good experience in working with Tally ERP / Microsoft Excel. - Working knowledge of tax laws, RBI and FEMA norms & reporting, Overseas taxation, and WHT. - Strong financial analysis skills. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong organizational and stress management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Ability to train and manage staff. - Ability to work effectively with little to no supervision.
