Senior Finance Analyst - General Accounting

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants (India) Pvt. Ltd. (JLL) is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst - General Accounting to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reporting. This role involves meticulous reconciliation, proactive issue resolution, and strict adherence to financial policies, contributing significantly to the team's operational excellence. What this job involves Transaction Processing and Reporting Process various transactions including accruals, allocations, and journals . Prepare and process month-end reporting . Perform accounts reconciliations and resolve open items. Compliance and Monitoring Ensure completion of assigned tasks accurately and timely, following instructions and procedures. Proactively flag work items at risk of missing KPIs to a supervisor. Ensure compliance with the Firm's financial, operating policies/procedures, and Statutory compliances . Day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of the general mailbox . Documentation and Improvement Follow process documentation for day-to-day activities. Create and update SOPs for assigned tasks. Track and monitor aged items , taking effective steps for closure. Assist with other accounting duties necessary for running various portfolios within the team. Perform duties related to process improvement initiatives, system implementation, and ad-hoc projects . Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy in Service Delivery. Desired Skills and Experience Education Accounting Background (B. Com/M. Com/MBA Finance). Technical Skills Strong accounting knowledge , including accruals, prepayments, and re-class. Computer skills including ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet (MS-Excel - Pivot, V-lookup, formulas) and word-processing programs, and email at a moderate to advanced efficiency. Key Skills Excellent verbal communication with international clients and strong email writing skills. Ability to drive results by collaborating with stakeholders . Strong problem-solving, workload management, and analytical skills . Good interpersonal skills , highly motivated, and risk-taking ability. Ability to engage and communicate clearly, confidently, and concisely with internal and external stakeholders, with a solution-oriented approach. Driven to succeed, with a structured and organized approach . Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively. Thrive under pressure and deal effectively with tight deadlines. Possesses a client & process centric approach . Open to work in a flexible environment . Real Estate Knowledge and Lean Knowledge will be an added advantage.
