Senior FAAS Specialist

Role Overview: As a Senior/Assistant Manager in the EY Assurance team, you will work closely with FAAS managers and Senior Managers on clients and engagements across Americas and EMEIA to provide end-to-end Record to Report services. Your role will involve ensuring the timeliness and quality of work as per project requirements, along with possessing good accounting knowledge under IFRS/US GAAP. You will be responsible for activities such as monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books, developing tools and methodologies for project delivery, and providing creative solutions to help clients achieve their treasury and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books - Support the development of tools and methodologies for project delivery - Participate in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnel - Develop practical solutions to help clients achieve their treasury and business objectives - Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLA - Receive direction from the Manager and Senior Manager - Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders - Prepare Variance Reporting & Analytical Review - Build necessary documents like SOPs and end-user training materials - Utilize guidance on US GAAP/IFRS for providing technical support - Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork - Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion and manage expectations regarding deliverables and reports - Support the development and management of relationships with external and internal clients - Participate in the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagements - Support the development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies - Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts and apply knowledge to complex client situations Qualifications Required: - B.com, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), DIP (IFR), or Regular/Part-time MBA from a reputed institute - 3-6 years of relevant experience, including experience in Entity/BU reporting, Financial statement close process support, and MIS reporting Company Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance practice supports global EY client-serving teams with reviews across various industry sectors.
