Senior Experience Designer

You will be joining a leading provider of integrated investment management solutions, SimCorp, as an Experience Designer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming complex financial workflows into intuitive solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Your work will involve collaborating with portfolio managers, compliance officers, and analysts to ensure precision and speed in high-stakes environments. As a member of the Global Experience Design team, you will be part of a centralized center of excellence with distributed impact. This setup allows for unified standards and processes globally, while also embedding designers within product teams for deep collaboration and contextual expertise. Your responsibilities will include balancing craft mastery with strategic thinking, translating complex financial concepts into actionable interfaces, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and taking ownership of projects while contributing to the collective design practice. You will be expected to lead the design for significant product features, mentor junior designers, contribute to design system development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and conducting user research and usability testing, creating high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications, ensuring designs meet accessibility and usability standards, and contributing to design process documentation and improvement. To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years of design experience in product or enterprise software, a strong portfolio demonstrating the end-to-end design process, experience with design systems and component libraries, proficiency in modern design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, etc.), and a background in user research and testing methodologies.
