Role & responsibilities A. Principal thrust area: a. To prepare Manuals, Instructions, and Video Scripts for CCPL products explaining how to use them. b. Coordinate for work with Factory Team in India & Sales Team in USA and outside photographer / videographer. B. Key Deliverables: a. Understand product functions to prepare or upgrade high quality operating Manuals, Instructions, & Videos (documentation) to align with world-class standards, enhancing clarity, readability, and user-friendliness for international customers. b. Validation of the documentation individually in front of the product from the users perspective. c. Verify documentation with technical and non-technical associates to check whether it is clear and easy to understand. Update them based on feedback. d. Ensure alignment of text with photos and use of consistent terminology. Use correct grammar and spelling. e. Coordinate and supervise Photography and Videography by professionals. Should be able to do basic photography and video shooting. Should be able to do basic photo and video editing or willing to learn same. f. Write scripts for videos and get videos made for new & existing products. g. Timely update the style guide and follow for consistency in documentation. h. Work in collaboration with documentation and marketing associates at our USA office. i. Explore the latest trends in documentation and collaborate with third-party experts. C. Competencies: C1. Technical Competencies: a. Competent in Technical Content writing. b. Good in planning & prioritizing work. c. Quick learner for understanding the equipment functions. d. Photo/Video capturing and editing experience required. e. Knowledge of end-user documentation / product documentation / technical documentation/Video Documentation. Delivering Consistent Results. D. Reporting & Responsibility: Position Reports to: Manager Techno Commercial Manager (M05) Reportees to this Position: Officer Technical Writer (M11). E. Job Location: 1. Tarapur MIDC. Tarapur MIDC, Boisar, Dist. Palghar, Maharashtra. a) Preference will be given to candidates in Tarapur/Boisar area or willing to relocate. b) Candidates (Mumbai/Western Suburbs on case to case basis) who can work on-site a minimum of 4 or more days/week will be considered. 2. For outstation bachelors, company provides a subsidized bachelors flat with a cook. For outstation families, company provides subsidized accommodation in company owned buildings. Relocation allowance is offered. 3. Tarapur- Railway station Boisar takes 1.5 hrs. by train from Borivali Station or by road via Western Express Highway. 4. Suburban local trains direct from Churchgate to Boisar Railway station available. Preferred candidate profile You must be : 1. Diploma Mechanical or Graduate / Post Graduate in Science / Pharma (English medium with convent schooling preferred). 2. Having 8+ years of product documentation experience. Preferably from Pharmaceutical / Medical device / FMCG / Food manufacturing industry. Perks and benefits 1.
