Senior Executive - Procurement ( Wiring Harness )

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in communicating with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to gather product information, pricing, and availability.

• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and provide timely updates to the purchasing team.

• Assist in generating purchase orders based on requisitions and approved purchase requests.

• Ensure accurate details, quantities, and pricing on purchase orders before submission.

• Monitor the status of open purchase orders, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any delays.

• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, shortages, or issues with orders.

• Assist in maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, reviewing usage trends, and updating inventory records.

• Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock availability for medical devices and supplies.

• Assist in evaluating supplier capabilities and conducting initial supplier assessments.

• Maintain accurate and organized purchasing records, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.

• Assist in verifying that purchased medical devices meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.

• Assist in analyzing pricing trends, conducting cost comparisons, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

• Contribute to cost-effective procurement decisions while maintaining quality standards.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong knowledge in wiring harness procurement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Basic understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.

• interest in the medical devices industry and a willingness to learn about medical regulations and quality standards.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree or Degree or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 4 years of Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or the medical devices industry is a plus but not mandatory.

Working Days : 6 days ( Monday to Saturday )

Working Time : 9.00 am to 5.30 pm
