Job Description

Role Summary:

Operations & Customer Support Executive

Key Focus areas:

Maintain proactive communication with customers, providing timely updates on policy status.
Coordinate collection and submission of additional requirements from customers.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely policy issuance.
Liaise with Operations and Medical teams to schedule customer medicals.
Track application status, manage cancellations, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Perform customer retention efforts on each case before processing cancellations.
Help and assist customers with post-issuance queries like personal details changes, document requests, update of any information, claim assistance and service-related queries.
Remind customers about renewals and help prevent policy lapses.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and/or customer service; prior experience in the life insurance sector is preferred.
Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
Prior experience in backend operations and policy issuance workflows.
Understanding of IRDAI regulations and insurance compliance standards.
Strong process orientation with keen attention to detail.
Excellent coordination, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is desirable.
In-depth understanding of life insurance products and customer servicing workflows.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-first mindset with the ability to deliver empathetic and solution-focused support.
