You will also be in charge of managing the general ledger meticulously to ensure it is well-organized and consistently updated, serving as a central repository for all financial transactions. Your role will involve conducting thorough financial record reconciliation by comparing financial statements with bank records to detect any discrepancies and resolving them promptly to uphold the integrity of financial data. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide a clear overview of the company's financial performance for decision-making processes. Collaborating closely with accountants, you will ensure tax compliance by timely preparing and maintaining financial records necessary for tax purposes to facilitate accurate and compliant tax returns. Proficiency in accounting software is essential for efficient data entry and management, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial records. To be a great match for us, you should preferably be a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce/Finance. Having 2-3 years of product management experience, particularly in a fintech organization, would be advantageous. Expertise in handling the Xero tool is a plus. Your ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Demonstrating a nuanced understanding of data, software engineering, and business processes to collaborate effectively with various teams is essential. You should possess high attention to detail, maintain high standards, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
