Senior Environment Manager

As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks related to managing environmental issues associated with the project. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparation of Environmental Plan, training modules, and other necessary documents for the effective management of environmental issues. - Implementation of the Environmental Management Plan to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. - Conducting Environmental management programs for both Employees and Workers to raise awareness and promote best practices. - Developing and implementing Environmental Aspect & Impact assessments for critical project activities. - Investigating incidents that impact Environmental and Social aspects of the project and recommending corrective actions. - Organizing campaigns and awareness programs to promote the Environmental & Social Management Plan within the project. - Reviewing the Environmental Management Plan and supplementary plans to ensure alignment with project activities during revisions. - Day-to-day environmental management, supervision, and monitoring of environmental-related work in the project area. - Preparing, displaying, and communicating COSHH & MSDS for all hazardous and flammable substances/chemicals used at worksites. - Ensuring Environmental legal compliance, including obtaining any required Environmental consent/permission related to specific activities from relevant authorities. - Conducting Environmental Management audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement. - Managing all environmental incidents/accidents that may affect the project's performance effectively. - Disposing of wastes generated at the worksites in accordance with CPCB/SPCB guidelines and other relevant regulations. Your qualifications should include a total of 7-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in similar environmental management roles.
