Senior Engineering Manager / Engineering Lead

Requirements: Our client is seeking a skilled Engineering Manager/Engineering Lead with proven growth journey from a developer to a lead role in fast-paced IT product companies. The ideal candidate should possess a robust blend of both advanced technical skills and effective people management capabilities.

Desired Technical Skillset1. Full Stack Development Expertise- Frontend: Strong command over React.js, and responsive UI/UX design principles.

- Backend:- Expertise in Java (Spring Boot) for building scalable, secure microservices.- Proficient in Python and Scala for backend processing, scripting, and data handling.- API Design: Experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs; familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger.

2. Database & Storage Systems- Deep experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) databases.- Sound data modeling skills and understanding of database normalization and performance optimization.

3. Data Engineering- Designing and building robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools like Python, PySpark, Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka.

4. AI/ML Application Experience- Understanding of applied machine learning concepts (classification, prediction, clustering, NLP).- Experience working with ML pipelines using scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Spark MLlib.- Working knowledge of model deployment, monitoring, and integration into production systems.

5. Cloud & DevOps Proficiency- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).- Secure cloud-native architecture and compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST standards.

4. Healthcare Industry Knowledge- Familiarity with payer-side healthcare systems, including:- Claims adjudication, provider networks, member eligibility, EHR integration.- Standards such as HL7, FHIR, X12/EDI (837, 835, 834).- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks: CMS mandates, ACA, Medicaid/Medicare reporting, risk adjustment.

5. Security, Privacy & Compliance- Deep understanding of data privacy regulations (HIPAA, SOC II, HiTrust, etc.).- Experience conducting security reviews, access control, and data governance in healthcare settings.
