Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and sub-systems for high/low-speed rotating equipment used in Defence and other applications.
Generate innovative design concepts and create detailed
3D CAD models
and engineering drawings.
Perform
structural and kinematic calculations
and support
FEA analysis
for components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, systems) to deliver integrated design solutions.
Prepare technical documentation including design reports, test plans, and compliance documents.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality protocols.
Interact with customers and suppliers to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Identify and implement projects for
cost reduction, capacity improvement, and safety enhancement
.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Education:
B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Marine/Automobile Engineering (M.Tech from IIT/NIT preferred).
Experience:
48 years in mechanical design.
Skills:

Strong fundamentals in mechanics and thermal design.
Proficiency in
CAD tools
(Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX).
Basic exposure to
FEA software
(ANSYS, Abaqus).

Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
