Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Bill Preparation
: Create and submit accurate client invoices (RA bills) and subcontractor bills, including detailed breakdowns from drawings and site data.
Quantity & Measurement
: Take measurements from site, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and verify quantities against drawings and specifications.
Rate Analysis & Estimation
: Perform rate analysis for extra/non-tender items and contribute to project estimates.
Material Reconciliation
: Check theoretical vs. actual material consumption (steel, cement, etc.) and calculate recoveries for excess usage or wastage.
Verification & Certification
: Check and certify all types of bills (civil, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and vendor invoices.
Contract & Compliance
: Analyse contracts, ensure compliance with IS codes, and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
Reporting & Documentation
: Maintain billing records, prepare MIS reports, and provide data for financial audits.
Coordination
: Liaise with site teams, project managers, and accounts departments for approvals, payments, and information.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education
: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Experience
: 4-9+ years in quantity surveying, estimation, and billing.
Technical Skills
: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP software, reading GFC drawings, and understanding civil engineering standards.
Soft Skills
: Strong analytical, communication (written/spoken), and problem-solving abilities.
