Senior Engineer, VP

Role Overview: You will be joining the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Technology team in Pune, India, working as a Senior Engineer, VP specializing in designing, developing, and testing engineering solutions for Transaction Monitoring (TM) systems to detect Money Laundering or Terrorism Financing. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, optimizing data flows, and implementing solutions using Cloud and BigData technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Create efficient ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data into TM systems, ensuring data quality and integrity. - Collaborate with developers and architects to design scalable and sustainable solutions that meet business needs. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in all engineering work. Qualifications Required: - Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong written and oral communication abilities. - Experience in Google Cloud Platform preferred; knowledge of AWS also considered. - 5+ years of experience in Oracle, Control M, Linux, Agile methodology, and working with internally engineered components. - Proficiency in Hadoop, Hive, Oracle, Control M, Java development; familiarity with OpenShift, PySpark preferred. - Strong understanding of designing and delivering complex ETL pipelines in a regulatory environment.
