As a Piling Engineer, your role involves planning, executing, and coordinating piling works to ensure the successful completion of projects. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this position: Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing piling works, including bored piles, driven piles, CFA, and micropiles, in compliance with project specifications and drawings. Supervising site preparation, rig setup, and concrete pouring will be integral to your role. Additionally, reviewing and approving method statements, risk assessments, and lifting plans for piling works will be part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with site teams, equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth piling operations. - Monitor pile installation to ensure compliance with technical standards such as depth, verticality, and concrete integrity. - Enforce safety practices on-site and identify/mitigate site hazards during piling activities. - Maintain documentation including daily site reports, progress reports, and quality records. - Lead and guide site engineers, foremen, and technicians involved in piling works. - Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and main contractors. Qualifications Required: - Experience in piling operations is essential for this role. - Strong knowledge of technical standards and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Ability to supervise and train junior engineers and technicians. - Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance practices.
